Georges Corraface was slated to play the title role in «Nostromo», to be directed by Sir David Lean and based on the Joseph Conrad novel.

“Phedra” directed by Antoine Vitez, Conservatoire National d’Art Dramatique, with Georges in the title role. The production created a ruckus when first staged. Vitez explained he was “just dusting off the classics”.
